Kallang Cage

Hey peeps! Need a place to play football with your friends? I have just the place for you. The Cage is a 24 hour arena that allows you to play football with your friends! As the Cage is sheltered, it does not matter whether it rains or shines as you can play football with your friends in any conditions! In addition, you will always feel cool as the Cage has good ventilation with its huge fan over your head constantly blowing at you. Many people enjoy playing football at the Cage as it provides a conducive environment with its AstroTurf (artificial grass) flooring, vending machines and toilets.

Some people may not like to play at the Cage as they find the small area restrictive for movement. However, for less fit and casual players like myself, I feel that the small playing area allows me to ‘chiong’ more.

Do note that you have to book for a pitch at approximately $50-60, so ‘jio’ as many of your friends along to split the cost!

Lastly, the Cage is located at 38 Jalan Benaan Kapal (Singapore 399635), near Stadium MRT.

Once you are ready, head on to Marina Barrage. Marina Barrage has a place called the “Green Roof” which is the size of four football fields. Moreover, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Singapore’s city skyline. You can bring along your friends to fly kites with you. Here are some safety rules and tips. Remember to fly your kites in the wind direction or else the kite would not fly up. East Coast Park

Want to de-stress? Enjoy the natural scenery? I have the perfect place for you. East Coast Park is Singapore’s most treasured urban getaways that has a huge variety of recreational activities for you to participate in. Want to have an adrenaline rush? You can cycle, rollerblade, kayak and even windsurf! If physical activities are not your taste, you can fish, picnic or take a stroll. Occasionally, events such as marathons are held there and I urge the adventurous kind to participate in them. After your activity I am sure you will feel hungry. But don’t worry, there are many restaurants waiting to serve you! Personally, I recommend that you go to the hawker centre to chow down on the smorgasbord of local delights!

East Coast Park is a place where you can invite your friends and family to participate in various activities together. The more friends you have, the merrier! So why not ‘jio’ your friends over and have a blast!

Subway - Healthy Diet

Apart from outdoor activities, a healthy diet is also an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. Many youths nowadays prefer to eat fast food, which is usually known as unhealthy. However, there is a much healthier alternative: Subway. Subway is an international fast food chain offering a variety of healthy food from sandwiches (subs) to wraps and even salads!

My favorite is the Cold Cut Trio Sub, which consists of 3 types of meat, turkey bologna, turkey ham and turkey salami. Subway offers a huge selection of vegetables and sauces for everyone, making it a healthy choice for both the young and the young at heart.

Subway also has sides to complement your meal such as their daily-made cookies, a selection of chips and fruit crisps. Every meal also comes with a healthy drink such as Snapple or Minute Maid Pulpy fruit juices.

All these healthy choices are available at a very reasonable and affordable price. So why not start eating healthy at Subway now?
