Route 1

Having a healthy lifestyle is very important to youths due to the fact that they are still in the process of growing up.  As such, the youths need more exercise to keep them healthy in the long run.  Here is an interesting sport that you and your friends can do!

Nature walk (Bukit Timah, MacRitchie reservoir, etc…)
Imagine being surrounded by fauna and flora, the cacophony of wildlife chiming in your ears. Not only does it soothes the mind and body, it benefits the respiratory system as the lush trees continues to pump out fresh oxygen.

Nature walk has long been the favorite activity of many trying to de-stress. After a long day of study or work, you can bring your friends along to the different parks in Singapore to enjoy the nature walk. Places include Bukit Timah, Hort Park, Tampines eco green and even the Botanic gardens. Be sure to pack in a bottle of water to start the journey. Water helps to keep you hydrated throughout the walk.

Nowadays, youths are into photography thus it is a good time to take some shots of nature’s beauty. Stunning critters live around these areas, allowing the youths to take a snapshot and share through social media.

With breathtaking scenery and an enjoyable walk, this is a sport not to be missed.
Cheers!

Photos are taken by Hak Wee at MacRitchie reservoir and PasirRis Park respectively.
