Did you know that there are 2 major ice skating rings in Singapore? Namely one at JCube and the other at Kallang Leisure Park.

Ice-Skating is perfect for friends and family who wants to grow closer to each other and enjoy themselves at the same time. When starting out, Ice-Skating together helps build confidence and trust in one another. Once you are a more proficient skater, you can help guide your friends who are still starting out, lending them your support and at the same time, receiving their trust.

And maybe you can be creative and do something unique on ice?

With this, I conclude the end of our blog posts. We hope that you, our readers, have enjoyed our content and your stay on the site. Also, we hope that we have impacted your lives by encouraging you to try out some of these activities which you may not have experienced while you are young.  Before the mall went under reconstruction, Kallang Leisure Park was famous for its ice skating ring. Singapore has few ice skating rings. For the people staying at the West, they go to JCube. For the people staying at the East, they come to Kallang Leisure Park. Now, Kallang Leisure Park still has its ice skating ring but now, with even more! For those that do not want to ice skate, you can go to the bowling alley beside it. After having a blast at the ice skating ring and/or bowling alley, you can just take the escalator up to watch a movie! After your activities, I am pretty sure you are starving. Don’t worry, there are many places at Kallang Leisure Park to eat such as Koufu, KFC and many more!

Garena Stadium

Garena Stadium is not your typical LAN shop. It revolutionizes what one perceives as a LAN shop. Apart from the regular stuff you get at a LAN shop, Garena Stadium also has food, merchandise and even large screens for viewing competitive games!

Most importantly, national players such as SGS.Chawy and SGS.Harleluyar come here to compete with each other and on a regional scale in tournaments such as the Garena Premier League. If you were wondering why their names look weird, it is because that these are their in-game names (IGNs). This consists of the team they play for, like SGS and KLH, followed by a name of their choice, which they build their reputation upon.

There are also huge high definition screens allow many to spectate ongoing games live allowing for events every weekend where these national players come to Garena Stadium to play casual games and have meet and greet sessions with their fans.

If you are interested in e-sports after reading this, do check out Singapore's very own Garena Premier League at http://gpl.garena.com and while you're at it, why not 'jio' your friends along?

ps. League of Legends is now an official Olympic sport! Read up on it here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/johngaudiosi/2012/08/15/league-of-legends-and-starcraft-ii-could-become-olympic-sports-as-early-as-2020-summer-games/
